Choosing a kitchen maker in Estonia comes down to a handful of questions you can ask at the first meeting. They cover production, what the design package contains, the site survey, the lead time and the warranty. Every answer can be checked before you sign anything.
Who will make and install the kitchen
Choosing a manufacturer starts with a clear answer: who will make your kitchen, and who will install it? Before signing a contract, find out whether the company has its own production facilities or passes the order to another company. Studioköök has its own production in Tallinn, and we install kitchens throughout Estonia. Another question for the first meeting is where you can see materials and fittings in person. You can see and touch them in our showroom.
What the design includes and how revisions work
Before signing, agree on what the future design will include and how revisions will be handled. Which documents will you receive, when can you request changes, and what counts as approval? Our design includes a 3D visualisation and detailed drawings. There is no limit on revisions before approval. Changes to an existing order need a separate discussion: with us, they are possible before production begins and are recorded in writing.
Who will check dimensions and utility connections
An on-site survey helps account for the room itself, so before signing, find out who will visit and when. Another useful question is what the specialist checks beyond wall dimensions. Our specialist measures the room and checks utility connections; the visit takes 20–60 minutes.
Lead time and warranty in the contract
A lead time in weeks only makes sense once you know what it is counted from. Ours starts at the prepayment and the written confirmation of technical details, not at the first meeting. From that point production takes 5–7 weeks in a calm period and up to 12 at peak; the exact date is fixed in the contract.
Read the warranty terms point by point too: what the cover includes, and how quickly the maker responds. Our furniture warranty runs for 2 years and we respond within a week.
